BETA TERMS

Clear terms for an early product.

These draft terms describe the basic expectations for using the Beside private beta. They are a structured product placeholder, not production legal copy.

Draft · September 2026

01

Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter an agreement and provide accurate account information. Additional age or location restrictions may apply.

02

Account use

Keep access to your account and assistant number secure. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for promptly reporting suspected misuse.

03

Messaging consent

By providing a number, you consent to receive service-related messages. Carrier rates may apply. Do not use Beside to send unlawful or unsolicited messages.

04

Connected services

You choose which calendars and services to connect. Third-party services remain governed by their own terms and availability.

05

Acceptable use

Do not use Beside to harm, deceive, harass, impersonate, violate privacy, evade safeguards, or break the law. Your assistant is represented as an assistant, not as you.

06

Private beta

Features may change, be incomplete, or stop working during beta. Feedback may be used to improve the service.

07

Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted operation. External messaging, calendar, and network providers may affect availability.

08

Data

Use of personal information is addressed in the privacy materials. Product data may be retained as needed to operate, secure, and improve the beta.

09

Termination

You may stop using Beside and request account deletion. Access may be suspended for misuse, security risk, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the beta.

10

Liability

Final limitations of liability, warranties, and remedies require jurisdiction-specific review and approval by qualified counsel.

11

Disputes

Final governing-law and dispute-resolution terms have not been selected and must be completed by counsel before production use.

Review required: These terms must be reviewed and completed by qualified counsel before production launch. They intentionally do not fabricate legal assurances, jurisdiction, liability limits, or dispute provisions.
