Your assistant needs context to be useful. That does not mean other people get to see it. You remain in control of what Beside knows, uses, and shares.

THE IMPORTANT DISTINCTION
Your assistant may use private context to make a better decision without repeating that context to somebody else.
“Karam doesn’t really want to see this person this week.”
“Karam isn’t available this week.”
The underlying reason stays private. Beside’s disclosure policy is evaluated separately from whether context may be used internally.
Review, correct, pin, or delete saved context. Beside should be able to explain, at a high level, why something is known.
Disconnect a calendar or other service. Revoking a connection stops future access through that provider.
The product is designed for account deletion and portable export. Availability and timing may vary during private beta.
Data is encrypted in transit. Provider credentials are scoped and stored separately from ordinary product content.
Information is retained only as needed to provide the service, meet security needs, and satisfy applicable obligations.
Connected providers operate under their own terms. Beside requests limited access and does not make their independent practices its own.
Important external actions and permission outcomes are designed to be traceable in a private activity history.
You can tell your assistant that something is wrong. Corrections should supersede outdated context rather than silently preserving it.
